Amsterdam Zuid train station, located south of the city, is an important station in the city of Amsterdam. It was opened in 1978. This station is used by the trains on the Weesp-Leiden line, which connects the station with the main Dutch cities. The trains are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen N.V., while metropolitan links are managed by GVB. The building that houses Amsterdam Zuid station provides assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility, cafés, shops, ticket offices, Wi-Fi and a waiting room. There is also a bus stop connecting passengers to the city centre.
